Turning the iPad into sensory play

We recently bought one of the subscription boxes from Edutopix – and it was themed “sensory” – what a brilliant box! I’ll do another post when I have more time to review it, but one of the things inside was a sealed plastic square full of coloured liquid bits and sequins – fun for squishing, squashing and general amusement. Yesterday I discovered accidentally that it brings a wonderful new dimension to the iPad, which acts as a light box! The colours are vibrant and you can still see whatever is on the screen. My 1yo loved the effects of this and spent ages moving it around.
